HTML 5(HTML+CSS3+Javascript)

Direct Information Delivery

Browser manufacturers and web developers alike are adopting the 5th revision of HTML to improve a user’s web experience. Whilst still under development and not formally recognized by the W3C (as of Nov 2011), components of this hybrid technology (HTML, CSS3 and Java script) are being implemented to streamline the way we interact with web based applications whether via PC, tablets or other mobile devices.

Intelledox is already utilizing components of HTML 5, in particular the CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheets version 3) to determine how our Smart Web Forms are rendered to each device type (i.e. PC, Tablet or other mobile devices).

How does this work

As Intelledox is a web based solution and 99% of the connected devices have a web browser, we must presenta Smart Web Form that is optimized and proportioned to suit each device. The CSS is basically a set of rules that determine the style properties of a Web Site. When a browser connects to a website, in this instance an Intelledox Smart Web Form, it communicates a base set of details: IP address, Browser type and Device type to the web server. In response the web server utilizes this information via the CSS to determine the best page format to be sent back to the browser.
