Green IT is becoming an increasingly important issue – research has shown that “the IT industry as a whole accounts for 2% of global emissions, a figure equivalent to aviation.”¹   These days, there is a critical need for governments and corporations to assess how sustainable their business processes are, and how they can adopt greener policies to address global environmental issues.

Intelledox has the ability to cut down the size of documents by automatically excluding irrelevant content. Intelledox allows the business unit to create simple question logic and business rules that are used to determine that content that should be included or excluded in a document, based on the responses of the user. For example, if the end-user answers ‘Yes’ to a particular question more questions may be included to gather the appropriate information. If the user answers ‘No’ those additional questions will be excluded. Similarly, information can be added or removed dynamically, such as appropriate legal clauses or product information. This ensures that pages of needless content can be eliminated in long and complex documents.
