If a user attempts to alter a generated document that has been locked, they will receive an error message, regardless of the format it is produced or saved in.

The lockability of documents means you can decide which documents can and cant be changed after generation as well as who can do it. Through the Intelledox Director you decide which users have permission to generate which documents, and then choose which ones are locked. Its never been so simple to have control over the documents being produced across your enterprise.
